Keynote AddressLaura M. Padilla-Walker
The Digital Family: Parents Raising Children in a Media Saturated World Dr. Padilla-Walker is an Associate Professor and the Associate Director of the School of Family Life at Brigham Young University. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and edited volumes in the top outlets in her field. Her research focuses on how parenting and media influences help to foster positive development during adolescence and young adulthood. |
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Approved for Continuing Education Credits for the Certified Family Life Educator program through the National Council on Family Relations. The sessions have been approved for 4 contact hours (60 minutes each) or .4 CEUs.

Conference Schedule/Agenda
We are excited about the interesting topics that will be presented at this year's conference. The day will begin with Laura Padilla-Walker's keynote address, followed by three one-hour presentation sessions (with lunch being served between sessions 1 and 2). Each session will include four research papers (presented in the SEC [Student Event Center room]), and numerous poster presentations (presented in the corridor adjacent to the SEC).
